  2. Copy all of the uncompressed files to a blank floppy disk. We will refer
  3. to this disk as "VGA display driver disk". Read the file 'README.2ND'
  4. for the next steps to perform the WINDOWS 3.0 configuration.

  6. Be aware that the WINDOWS 3.0 setup program will not replace existing
  7. display driver files. So delete the following files from the SYSTEM
  8. subdirectory in your windows 3.0 directory before using WINDOWS setup to
  9. install a newer version of a display driver:

  11.     PVGA.GR3   
  12.     VDDVGA.386 
  13.     VGA1024f.DRV
  14.         VGA800f.DRV

  17. These 16 color drivers are fast versions. As a result they cannot be used
  18. on a PC that also has a mono display board installed with the VGA.
